Rockstars with masks or without??

Which is better? I'd like to see more with masks like Slipknot. Masks have like endless posibility while you only have one face. I think it could help out my future career right?Rockstars with masks or without??
Well, there are some great bands with and without.

WITH:

KISS, is one of the most popular rock bands of all time and their makeup was awesome!

Slipknot, I'm not as big a fan of and I don't much like their masks.

WITHOUT:

Guns N' Roses, they kicked big time and they did not wear makeup or masks, however Slash had that awesome hat that was his trademark.

I believe that a great band has their own ';hook';. Makeup is sometimes the hook, sometimes it a theme like Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper or sometimes its wardrobe or technique they play music. Eddie Van Halen played guitar like nobody else on earth.Rockstars with masks or without??
i really like the diversity of mask slipknot has and that mask are really to hide themselves and put the point of thier music across so yeah mask are a endless posibility in music as a shock cells
I have an answer for you, Ron C. Rap listeners.

I prefer without masks though. KISS were one of the pioneers of it, but it was all about the performance, less about the music. The New York Dolls hid behind girl clothing and makeup, but they were pretty good. A mask makes a person memorable, but it's their playing that should leave the influence.

O (n)

C (rack)

K (illing people)

Statistics proved that Rock Listeners are more than likely to cause a felony. There's more Rock people in jail than Rap people.

Rock isn't even music its all about Death , Suicide Notes %26amp; Destruction , and Depression

its just nosy retards screaming and yelling about destruction and death and worshiping the devil Rock Sucks and needs to banded

Who Would Listen To Rock But The Most Depresed Malnourished Social Scum On The Earth
well all of slipknots guys are coming out unmasked, i mean look at corey and james in stone sour, and joey in murderdolls. and mick did an interview with no mask. hes huge and has a beard. i like the corpse paint thing though like dimmu borgir and other death metal bands
i like both cuz each person has their own way of sharing their self and stuff. I think Mudvayne's makeup when they were early starting, was cool around the Dig era. Slipknot masks were cool too though i liked the old ones better than the new ones they wore. GWAR has cool costumes too specially from being in their hometown of Richmond alot of folks down here dont really like costumes i guess im the only one.

Oh yea, Ron C ur a f**ing ******. Its good to waste time and come into a question about rock and bash it. Nice going d*kweed.
Definitly without. When I go to a rock concert, I want to see rockers onstage, not a bunch of circus clowns. I mean you have to admit, Slipknot's pretty scary to look at. If I went to a Godsmack concert and saw Sully in a mask, I would be very disappointed because he is just way to hot!
I guess it depends..... But if you're hot don't wear a mask!!! lol You don't want to cover that =P
In what way?

So people don't realise when you're old and wrinkly?

hehe, They'll notice when you can't quite move about on stage like you used to.

I prefer rockstars without masks... only some people can pull off gimmicks. Like someone mentioned earliar, Kiss is an example of a band that could not.

x
None. The guyliner is hot, but masks ain't cool!
Without BY FAR. No doubt about it.
hmmm . . . it depends on the music.

the misfits had awesome face paint and stuff, and it totally fit with their music.

but kiss's (is that the possessive form of kiss??) face paint sucked hard.

so . . .

yea i think it depends on the type of rock.
