Homemade facial masks.?
does anyone know a recipe for a homemade facial mask. one that's healthy and gives you clear healthy skin. (esp. acne)?Homemade facial masks.?

录 CUP COOKED OATMEAL, COOLED (USE REGULAR OATMEAL, NOT INSTANT)
1 TABLESPOON PLAIN YOGURT
1 EGG WHITE
UTENSILS: SMALL BOWL, SPOON, TOWEL
Directions:
鈥?Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth and creamy-watery.
鈥?Makes 3 ounces, enough for one facial treatment.
To Use:
鈥?Spread the mixture evenly onto your face (but not on your eyes or mouth) with clean fingertips.
鈥?Leave on for 15 minutes, and then rinse well with warm water.
鈥?Pat your skin dry.Homemade facial masks.?
for smooth and clear skin u can try using lemons and cucumbers. first u smear a lemon over you face. then let it dry for a hour. it might sting a little. after a hour u can slice small thin pieces of cucumbers. apply it on ur entire face except ur lip for 30 minutes. hope this works for u cause it works for me

First, make a paste from a little oatmeal and water. Apply to face and allow to dry. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Mash 1/2 banana and add 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons sour cream. Apply to face and let set for about 10 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Take two tablespoons of cornmeal mixed with enough water to make a thick paste makes a great inexpensive facial mask. Gently apply to face and wash off.
In a food processor or blender, combine 1/2 cucumber, 1 tablespoon yogurt, a few strawberries, and 1 teaspoon honey. Apply to face and allow to dry. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Grind 1 tablespoon almonds into a fine meal in a blender or food processor. Mix almond meal together with 1 tablespoon honey and 1 egg white. Apply to face and let set for about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
To loosen blackheads, combine equal parts baking soda and water in your hand and rub gently on your skin for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Mash half of an avocado and apply to entire face. Let set for about 20 minutes and then gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Soak 1 cup dried apricots in water until softened. Puree in blender or food processor with 2 tablespoons skim milk powder. Apply to face and let set about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Puree 1/2 peeled, sliced cucumber in a blender or food processor and add 1 tablespoon yogurt. Apply to face and let set about 20 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Crush a handful of strawberries and mix well with 1 teaspoon honey. Apply to face and let set for about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons honey, the juice from 1/2 of a lemon, and 1 small carton plain yogurt. Stir in 1 whipped egg white. Apply to face and let set about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.

although it may not be a product in your everyday pantry but if you go to whole foods and buy dairy biokulturing it does wonders to acne

-1 medium apple (grated)
-5 tablespoons of honey
Mix the grated apple and mix with honey to make a mask. Smooth over skin then let sit for 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water.
2. Banana, Honey, Yogurt facial mask
- one half banana
-2 tbsp. yogurt
-1 tbsp. honey
Mash the banana with a fork then mix in honey and yogurt. Apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.
ENJOY.

Just wanted to know the input mask for a UK postcode? I have tried L?09#0LL and it works for postcodes such as (S9 8HD), however it does not accomdate for postcodes which start with two letters for example (DN8 7NS) or (DN12 8DN).

I am a huge kane fan and i want his masks made into correct replica's. Not the crap that wwe sell where they use the word ';replica'; as loose as possible.

In my art class we just began making paper mache masks and unfortunately... I can't think of what to make my mask resemble. We can do basically anything, from Tweety bird to Water Nymphs. So I was wondering what you guys think would make a good mask? Hiding Behind Masks...?

CPR Masks/Faceshields?

Positives/negatives? Advantages/disadvantages? Which is best?

The pocket mask (third link) is the best. Best advantages are: one-way valve so you're not inhaling what they exhale/vomit, mouth and nose coverage so you can breathe into victims with jaw/mouth injuries or otherwise obstructed mouth, easier to make a seal. However, I suggest that you take a Professional Rescuer CPR class so that you're familiarized with how to use it.
Put your hands in front of you and touch your two thumbs and two index fingers together to make a triange, with your palms down. The valve you breathe into would be in the center of that triangle, your remaining 3 fingers on each side would be on the victim's forehead and chin opening the airway. You have to make sure that you make a seal, which should be easy enough due to the pliable plastic cushion. It's still better to practice it on a mannequin before you do it on a real person though. Even take a mask to your next ';normal'; CPR class, the instructor should be able to tell you how to use it or give you time to practice with it. (Not all CPR instructors teach the professional level, but many do.)CPR Masks/Faceshields?
ok...my preference is the one that hooks behind the ears for a hands free faceshield...also you really need to find one that has the Micron protection which protects against TB and other airbourne diseases.

Then they vomit, Now you have a nonbreathing patient with a airway obstruction. Back to the Q. If you figure your probably going to have to use it , spend the money on a good CPR mask. Remember a cheap little shield with a few pairs of gloves in the vehicle glove box is worth 100 CPR masks sitting at home.

~Make a paste from a little oatmeal and water. Apply to face and allow to dry. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
~Mash 1/2 banana and add 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons sour cream. Apply to face and let set for about 10 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
~Two tablespoons of cornmeal mixed with enough water to make a thick paste makes a great inexpensive facial mask. Gently apply to face and wash off.
Revitalizing Mask:
Mash 1/2 cucumber, 2 strawberries, 1 tsp honey and 1 tbsp yogurt in a food processor.
Apply to face and allow to dry. Wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Pore Tightening Mask:
1 beaten egg white combined with 2 tsp lemon juice will make your pores look really tiny!
Replenishing Mask:
Combine 4 cups fresh spinach, 1 cup fresh mint and 1 piece ginger (cut and peeled ). Blend on low setting. Add 3 tbsp honey and 1 ripe banana. Smooth all over your face. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Store the rest of the mixture covered in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Rejuvenating Mask:
Make a mixture of 2 tbsp sweet almond oil, 2 tbsp honey, 1 drop vitamin E oil and 5 drops essential oil of rose.Massage onto face with fingertips. Leave on 20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Wrinkle - Minimizing Mask:
Mix 1 tbsp honey with 30 ml of cabbage juice. Leave on 15 minutes and rinse well. Apply daily for keeping the wrinkles away.
Strawberry Mask:
Mash 2 medium size strawberries with fork, then add honey and mix well. Apply generously to face and leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

This soothing mask is great for chapped, sunburned or irritated skin.
1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold)

I have this really nice mask - it is black and gold, rather glittery and has mildly large black feathers coming from the top. What are the values for the diffferent colored jets in a venturi mask?
Each color denotes a different amout of oxygen that is given by the mask. There will be 2 numbers, actually, one is large and the other is small, the larger number, say 35, is how much O2 the mask is giving and the smaller number, 4, is what liter flow to run the mask at to get that amount of O2. Look in the skin care isle at your local drugstore, there's a mint julep clay mask by queen Helene that's pretty good. Otherwise MD Formulations makes a acne healing clay mask, or you could visit Sephora or Ulta for more options.

IMO the best masks in the world are made by Jan Marini. They're not sold in store but by licensed aestheticians and physicians and believe me, your skin will glow, glow glow!!
If you're wanting a homemade exfoliating/hydrating mask, try oatmeal and honey. Mix the oatmeal with a tablespoon or two of honey and enough warm water to make a moveable paste. Place gauze over your face and heap on the mixture. let sit for 15 minutes. When time is up, lift the edges of the gauze and gentle rub the ball of oat mixure over the skin. This will help to exfoliate the skin. Beware, as the oat mixture sits on the skin it develops a milky like substance so have your hair covered. It won't hurt your hair, in fact, it's good for it, just rinse your hair and it will feel smooth and silky.
For a home made drawing mask try milk of magnesia. Again, 15 minutes and rinse.
I would try professional products first if you can. They are choc full of goodies for your skin you cannot get at home.
Drink lots of water, eat well and get lots of sleep.

well, i wouldn't think it was ';bad'; for your skin... but you may have allergies towards something in it, since your not completely red and broken out i doubt that was the problem.I think the most likely reason is b/c you didn't wash it all off. if even the littlest amount was left on it will clog your pours causing pimples.
if you are looking for a face mask, you could try even parts of baking powder and water. leave on for 5-10 minutes and wash off with warm water. Or and egg yolk (which is amazing for you skin) spread on your face leave for 15-20 minutes and wash off with warm water.

When you buy a paintball mask, can you buy something that covers the back as an accessory?
I am buying a starter kit with tippmann A5, loader, tank, and goggles. I want a full head mask but it doesn't come included. So is there a accessory where it covers the back? KEEP READING!!!!!!

Sorry but I've never seen one with a full head mask but have seen the mask alone for $30-40 so you can either buy everything seperate, buy the starter kit and the mask then sell the other one to someone, or buy the starter kit and wear the mask and a baseball cap on backwards. uhmm do you guys know any homeade facail masks to help with acne? i dont have bad acne just a couple bumps here and there but still i want those gone.

mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients. toothpaste is good also. put only a little bit before you good to sleep. some people use this as a mask but don't do it! it can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticable. use the gel or the real thing. try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not to hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. the use cold water at the end to close you pores. the smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. an egg yoke is good also. i used this when i had pimples. just take the egg yoke (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. you can buy these almost about any large store (such as walmart or shaws.) have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruitsFacial masks??

Orange Cornmeal Delight
Take one peeled orange and put in blender along with your desired amount of cornmeal. Add 1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal and mix well. Apply to a slightly damp face. Leave on for 10 minutes, then spray a bit of warm water on face and use circular motion to work mask around the face. Remove with warm.

No you need to use salicylic acid which has the ability to penetrate pores and exfoliate inside the pore instead of layering crap on top of the skin forcing debris deeper into the pore. Use a benzoyl peroxide product to reduce the number of bacteria on the skin and in the pore thriving on the oil and dead skin cells.
And you need to find out about the ingredients in the ';recipe'; of the salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide products you buy to fight acne, to make sure they don't contain potential skin irritants (like lemon and vinegar) -- because if they irritate your skin, you'll have to stop using them and then you'll be right back where you started. Tea tree oil is effective against bacteria, but nothing like benzoyl peroxide is. Honey has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties meaning it can improve the overall condition of the skin and reduce redness. The clay mask mentioned below can't do any ';deep cleansing';. It is made of beeswax and Fuller's earth (basically a salt). It can absorb excess oil and that's it. The salt may be abrasive enough to exfoliate skin, but it can't do that just resting on the skin. The beeswax serves only as a thickening agent.

As a matter of fact, there is a great home made mask that I have been using for some time! It really works great. It should clear up your face very quickly! The ingredients are easy to get. Try painter's tape-it comes in blue and green versions. Even these will have a little bleed. You may need to touch up both side of you line.
Also you can try hand lining using a lining stick. Firts snap a line and then lightly mark it out in pencil. Dust off the snap line chalk. Now find a piece of wood (1'; x 2';) with a beveled edge. (maybe a piece of already beveled trim from the hardware store will do) Place the lining stick perpendicular to your line and with the bevel to the wall. (this prevents bleed and allows you to see your line.) Measure up from the floor where you want the line, mark it, and do that all the way around the room, then put the tape against the line..
Yes, you can make a perfectly straight line and can do so with either a laser which is real popular these days or with a chalk line, which is much cheaper than a laser...
Measure from the floor and place a paneling nail partially into each wall corner and stretch a chalk line to each nail and snap the line for your mark needed...
BEWARE...the chalk may discolour your paint and to avoid that would be to place your painters' masking tape above the line and then paint down to the masking tape top edge...
Leave the tape on the wall until the paint is cured...usually three days...then apply new tape above the old tape before removing the old tape and paint up to the bottom edge of the new tape...
Before painting the bottom, be sure to wash away the chalk line using a soft cloth dampened with warm water...
If this seems too much a task then consider using a centrewall border...self sticking and six inches wide. Measure from the floor and place a light pencil mark on the wall every two feet across the wall and it will be straight across as the border itself is straight. If border ends must meet midwall then overlap the ends until the pattern matches above (inner) and below (outer) and then carefully cut the outer layer only to create a constant pattern...

You can purchase the tool from Sears, Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. The tool is not that expensive and has lots of uses. Using the laser tool AND applying your tape will require the assistance of another set of hands, but it goes quickly.
After your painting project, you can hang blinds and drapes evenly (and even pin curtain hems straight). You can hang pictures or groups of pictures at the same height around the room, place a chair rail, hang shelving straight, hang wall paper..it's a great little tool, not horribly expensive.
Follow the painter's tape instructions (or just experiment) for the correct time to remove the tape. Too wet, the paint can sag. Too dry, you could pull the paint off. Try a sample in an inconspicuous place before your do your entire room.

Okay, so I've always been confused when to use some facial products before or after your cleansing routine (cleanser, toner, moisturizer)?
For me, it makes more sense to use a specific facial product BEFORE a cleansing routine.
For instance, these are some of the products I'm confused about whether to use before or after your routine:
-mud mask
-[exfoliating] facial scrub
- i also have this acne treatment gel and soap i got from bestbathstore.com

you should cleanse, tone moisturize in the morning, and at night.
after you moisturize at night is when you should use the acne treatment gel.
use the acne treatment soap when in the shower
i wouldn't recommend overusing the scrub, or mask. so only once or twice a week should you incorporate them into your cleansing routine.
the order I find works best is; cleanse, tone, mud mask, scrub, moisturizer.

cleanse your face first (i wouldn't scrub it before a mask, it might irritate it. You are only supposed to scrub your face a few times a week, not everyday. Same with a mask. Don't overdo it or you will irritate your skin and likely cause acne)

tone if you use toner
put your acne treatment gel on
then moisturize with a light oil free moisturizer
If you want to scrub your face, just use your scrub instead of cleanser. It's good to give your face a good scrub about twice a week. Then tone, put your acne medication on, then moisturize with your light oil free moisturizer.
I would recommend using the mask once a week and the scrub twice a week.

Do you have apples and honey? If you do, grate half of the apple, add 2 tablespoons of honey, mix well, and apply all over your face and leave for 10-15 mins and then rinse with cool water.
Do you have oats? Mix oats and water and apply on acne affected areas, leave for 10 mins. Then rinse with apple cider vinegar rinse ( 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar + cup of water)
Do you have a tomato? Mash a tomato and apply all over your face and leave for 15 mins, then rinse with cool water.
Also, my friend has really bad acne, and she uses aspirin mask three times a week for the past 2 months and her acne is disappearing actually. Take an aspirin tablet, moosh it in enough water to make paste (like a teaspoon) and apply in on acne affected area and leave for 20 mins. Then rinse.
These are the masks i use, and they work well. If you have allergy to any of those ingredients, then don't use them on your face. You have to rinse your face with cool water after each mask and apply thin thin layer of moisturizer.
After a good mask I also take a slice of cucumber and rub it on my face. Makes skin soft and smooth.
Mix sour cream or plain yogurt with ground oatmeal or strawberries. I really like strawberries and sour cream because the acids in each act as exfoliators. You can also use egg white and cucumber, or honey and oatmeal. If you cook some carrot down, you can add honey and milk to that or even some green tea. Or just mix and match.
The only mask that I know how to make is an oatmeal mask where you mix oatmeal with milk or water and apply it to your face I don't even know if this is the right recipe for it though.

well me %26amp; my friends are have a horror movie marathon type of thing %26amp; i want to put gruesome makeup on our faces like fake blood coming out of our eye %26amp; mouth so we can wear it all night til we go to sleep :}

Get a package of Knox unflavored gelatin, a 35mm film canister (small black cylinder, and a popcicle stick.
put a package of gelatin in the canister and pour warm water to fill up the rest of the canister and stir it up until it is consistant...
apply the gelatin to the face avoiding the holes in your nose, your eyes and your moth, as the gelatin dries you can help it along with a hair dryer, also if you take some cotton balls you can stretch them out and put them into the gelatin, cover it up with more gelatin and you can form scars or rings that look like open sores...
once dry you can aplly makeup to match skin tone and blues for bruises, browns and reds for effect as desired, you just have to kind of play with it
you can make blood by using clear corn syrup with red food coloring, for the chunky effect add some chunky peanut butter.
at the end of the night you can remove the gelatin by soaking in wark water... just be sure you dont have any allergies to any of the ingredients

Also, my friend has really bad acne, and she uses aspirin mask three times a week for the past 2 months and her acne is disappearing actually. Take an aspirin tablet, moosh it in enough water to make paste (like a teaspoon) and apply in on acne affected area and leave for 20 mins. Then rinse.
These are the masks i use, and they work well. If you have allergy to any of those ingredients, then don't use them on your face. You have to rinse your face with cool water after each mask and apply thin thin layer of moisturizer.
After a good mask I also take a slice of cucumber and rub it on my face. Makes skin soft and smooth.
Mix sour cream or plain yogurt with ground oatmeal or strawberries. I really like strawberries and sour cream because the acids in each act as exfoliators. You can also use egg white and cucumber, or honey and oatmeal. If you cook some carrot down, you can add honey and milk to that or even some green tea. Or just mix and match.
The only mask that I know how to make is an oatmeal mask where you mix oatmeal with milk or water and apply it to your face I don't even know if this is the right recipe for it though.

well me %26amp; my friends are have a horror movie marathon type of thing %26amp; i want to put gruesome makeup on our faces like fake blood coming out of our eye %26amp; mouth so we can wear it all night til we go to sleep :}

Get a package of Knox unflavored gelatin, a 35mm film canister (small black cylinder, and a popcicle stick.
put a package of gelatin in the canister and pour warm water to fill up the rest of the canister and stir it up until it is consistant...
apply the gelatin to the face avoiding the holes in your nose, your eyes and your moth, as the gelatin dries you can help it along with a hair dryer, also if you take some cotton balls you can stretch them out and put them into the gelatin, cover it up with more gelatin and you can form scars or rings that look like open sores...
once dry you can aplly makeup to match skin tone and blues for bruises, browns and reds for effect as desired, you just have to kind of play with it
you can make blood by using clear corn syrup with red food coloring, for the chunky effect add some chunky peanut butter.
at the end of the night you can remove the gelatin by soaking in wark water... just be sure you dont have any allergies to any of the ingredients
oh and have fun!!! if you do it right you can end up looking pretty scary!!! Scary masks/blood/scars?

OK I have this M10M Czechoslovakian gas mask and I have herd that it has a shelf life and is obsolete but the place where I got it from “Cheaper than dirt” says it will protect me against all types of gas attacks- I have used it and tried to smell objects with it, stuff like gasoline and superglue and I haven’t smelled the gas or anything when doing it but when I took it off I immediately smelled every thing, so would that work and does it have a shelf life?Gas Masks?

Leave you car windows open when possible, to help 'air out' the car. Yes you can use Febreeze directly on fabric (read the instructions on the can for any warnings).
Also try an air freshener in your car that isn't REAL strong but maybe a stick-up under your seat, or a liquid slow-release air freshener that'll attach to your AC vent (I've gone one so smoker smell doesn't hang in my car).

They are the ones who messed up (even if they didn't know, they will once you go there and tell them) Talk to the manager and if they wont fix it ask for their DM (district manager) number. If nothing else the febreeze works, just dont sit until it's dry and leave the windows open a little to let air in
