What catchers mask do you prefer, standard mask or hockey style?

I personally prefer the traditional mask. It is not as hot as the hockey style mask and it is easier to take off when looking for a foul pop.





But, depending on what league/district etc you are playing in sometimes the hockey mask is required because it protects the back of the head and throat better than the traditional mask.

and is actually cheaper
i was a catcher through high school and i personally prefer the hockey style
i think if you were a goalie like i was, i prefer the hockey style. But my cousin hates it
