I saw V for vendetta just now on dvd. i remember when Evey came out of the fake detention center V told her that they executed Gordon when they found the Quran in his house. Was he being serious because at the ending scene when V blew up parliament and every one starts to take off their masks, you see gordon taking off his... Of course. All the good people are at the end. Remember the little girl that was shot spray painting was there? And the actress who wrote the letter to V was there too.

Everyone who took off a mask had died in the movie, Eveys family, the girl who got shot, Gordon, V's cell neighbor and her girlfriend. So yes Gordon was killed.
