No. I think ridicule and anger are but...skepticism? Come on! That just means ';I'm going to withhold judgement until I see enough proof.'; It's a sign of a scientific mindset, but hardly a fearful one.

Yes, some people try to hide their fears through these different negative attitudes. It is because they don't know how to control or overcome their fears. But the most worst or frightening reaction to fear is when one is silent because you don't know what is going on inside or within him; you have no clues as to what kind of torment he is going through and you cannot help him undo his fears, or help him to overcome it. That is the kind that is very dangerous. And one that needs to be carefully watched.
