Steaming is really good for your skin. A homemade face mask I like is:

2 cups Oats

1 banana

a few spoonful of honey

mix together leave on for 15 min (just make sure not to over mash the banana)
Avocado, honey, lemon, and lime is a good face mask that I make at home. It works wonders for my skin.
